My advise is to come across some extra money and pay your mortage right away. Jobs are only fewer this year then last. Call ICC pay that mortgage bill and best luck out there. I cannot reflect to much on my own experience. My mother, Ms. Aravena worked as a NYC high school teacher for 22 years did all the work and we have this really big house now, in Midwood Park brooklyn, but things dont work quite the way they used to. Even keeping the job with the UFT has shorter terms then 20 yrs served, pay cuts for transfering to another subject, and ever more crowded class rooms. And dont forget to buy a copy of my book
